My name is Julie S. and I am an environmental compliance consultant for a firm in California, but reside in Fairview. I have always been active – playing organized sports, hiking, and running – but recently I decided to reach for a new goal. I wanted to transform my 43-year-old body into those that I am always admiring on the pages of my Athleta catalog – muscular, strong, powerful, and defined. After working with big-box trainers and not getting the results I wanted, I sought out a smaller more personal training experience and found IPT. I emailed Ray and asked if he could help me with my goal of gaining 5 pounds of muscle, increasing strength, and getting my body fat down to 15%. Of course, he said YES!I joined IPT in December of 2014 and haven’t looked back. I attend three one-on-one sessions every week with Brian and Vincent and workout twice a week on my own. On my outside-IPT days or when I am traveling for work, Brian still helps me structure workouts to make sure I maximize my results. IPT staff has helped me in every aspect of reaching my goal – what to feed my body and how much, keeping me motivated with a HUGE variety of workouts, challenging me physically and mentally, checking in to make sure things are going well, and telling me how great I look. I should also note that I have scoliosis, and while this has never stopped me from doing anything, it is a consideration. The guys are always making sure I have proper form and that my back isn’t compromised. Ray and Amy have created a business that they are passionate about and you will notice it the moment you walk through the door. They have also hired knowledgeable trainers that are just as passionate and sincerely want their clients to succeed. When people started commenting recently on my shoulders, arms, and back, I knew my training was working and it’s all thanks to IPT! Whatever your goals, IPT can help you reach them!
My name is Stephanie, I am a Real Estate Director in Allen, TX. I moved to Allen in February and told myself that this move was the trigger I needed to start trying to get in shape. I hit an all-time personal weight high right before the move and was determined to get back down.
The most unique aspect of IPT training is my relationship with my trainer. I truly feel like they care about me and my fitness journey. They give me phenomenal feedback and always pushes me to break the limits I've set for myself. The most amazing specific result I have experienced since starting with IPT is my strength! I always thought that I just wanted to lose weight and be thin, but being strong is so much better. I've definitely lost weight and am in such better shape now than I was three months ago, but the strength I have gained in my upper body is like nothing I was expecting.
Since I started with IPT, I have lost 15 pounds and more inches than I can count. The biggest milestone for me is simply fitting into clothes that I haven't been able to wear in well over a year. My mindset on food has completed changed as well. I don't feel like I'm depriving myself, I'm simply making healthier choices.
I would recommend IPT to anyone who is interested in changing their outlook on health and fitness. The staff is incredible and I can't thank them enough for the encouragement and support she has given me over the last three months. They will help you reach goals you didn't even know you had!*
Hello, my name is Greg B., I reside in Allen TX. I have relocated for job opportunities 6 times in my career with State Farm Insurance Companies having lived in the states of New Jersey, Michigan, 3 separate times in Illinois and now Texas. Eighteen months ago I moved to Allen and so far my wife and I love being Texans!
I was a 2 sport college varsity athlete and had always stayed in average or better physical condition with on and off workouts and sport leagues over the years. But, the couple pounds I had been gaining each year was adding up and I was not adjusting my relatively undisciplined eating habits. When I moved to Texas I decided it was time to get focused on my health and diet, but I wanted professional help to do this right. I looked at a few places and found IPT. And, I am so happy I did!
IPT has enthusiastic and motivated owners, is well organized and has flexible times for my schedule. I have been really pleased with the quality and professionalism of the trainers on staff. Vincent, Mike and Andrew have been my most frequent trainers and are terrific at what they do. Due to their attention, I've come a long way with my technique and am constantly challenged by new and varying exercise routines.
My goal in fall 2014 was to lose 22 lbs and get under 200 lbs. Now, here I am in April 2016 at 189 lbs, approx 17% body fat and in the "Fitness category" for my height and weight. I feel great and am preparing to compete in a 5 mile Battlefrog obstacle race next Saturday! My trainers continuously are pushing my boundaries with exercise reps and ever increasing lbs of resistance. This has not been easy for me to accomplish in my 50s, but I'm more motivated and confident than ever to keep improving my fitness.
For anyone who wants to improve their confidence, body image and wants to do it the right way, I highly recommend IPT, owners Ray and Amy and the super staff of trainers. And, as a bonus, there's a really friendly group of workout partners who belong to IPT who encourage each other as they journey together to conquer their individual goals.
My name is Cindy. I am 56 years old, I live in McKinney, TX, and I am a hard-working mother of three successful adult children. I joined Infinity Personal Training because my daughter, Ashley Larsen, would not stop nagging me to try it. I did not want to, but I did.I joined Weight Watchers on March 10, 2012; I started running in June 2013; and by the time I joined IPT in January 2014, I had already lost 70 pounds. My main goal in joining IPT in the beginning was to gain upper body strength and strengthen my skeleton. I quickly fell in love with strength training. With IPT, the strength training paired with my running for cardio was the perfect total body fitness workout. I am now down 80 pounds. The most amazing result I have achieved is that I have built more strength than I ever dreamed of. In the beginning, five pound weights were too heavy, but now I am so proud that I can often out-do people half my age; I also love having sculpted arms and legs. My life has changed. I have gained a huge boost in self-confidence. I’m no longer afraid to wear racerback tank tops, and I can keep up with my active daughters and my two grandsons – no problem. My recommendation to those looking for healthy change in mind, body, and lifestyle is to join IPT right away. Don’t wait to lose weight and “get fit” first; go now! Don’t be self-conscious of your body – that’s the biggest mistake you can make. Ray, Amy, and all the amazing trainers are positive and motivating. They know you by name and care about you – whatever journey you are on; it’s personal, and it’s a fun place to work out. I love it at Infinity Personal Training!!
I did it! Or did I? I met my original goal of reaching 210 lbs. after 5 solid months of working out at Infinity Personal Training (a 43 lb. loss!). Fact is, I only did some of the work and realize that my goals of fitness and weight loss would not have been possible without the staff. IPT has been instrumental in designing an eating plan that fits my lifestyle, offering advice around supplement use, and has also helped me realize that I need to focus on balancing my life. My trainer has been an incredible motivator, amazing when it comes to using the appropriate technique during an exercise (I never knew doing an exercise correctly would be so meaningful), recognizes my different moods when we work out, and will not let me give up! Everyone does an amazing job when it comes to holding me accountable – this has been a game changer for me. My world is completely different due to the collaborative efforts of your team. I have more energy than ever before, love to come in and workout, and am constantly getting comments from family, friends, and co-workers about the transformation. I’m still chasing some fitness goals, but am less focused on weight loss and more on my overall health. I mentioned the “Infinity Family” above because that is the way your team makes me feel every time I walk-in the door. I recommend Infinity Personal Training to anyone who asks about working out because I know that if they Decide & Commit, they will Succeed with your team. Thanks for everything. Most importantly – DON’T STOP!!
My name is Haley H. and I am 30 years old and live in Plano, TX. I am a District Manager for Target and lead 11 stores in the North Dallas and El Paso Texas markets. I am a mom of two girls, Rory 4 and Lincoln, 1. I began with Infinity Personal Training on September 19th, 2014. I remember the specific date as it was also the day I began a new position with Target. After 2 babies, 2 C-Sections, and a lifetime of being not athletic, I decided it was time to make a personal change. I found Infinity Personal Training online and made an appointment with Ray Cattaneo. I knew I found the place I needed to be during my consultation with Ray. I removed all of my normal excuses which included balancing a 60+ hour a week job, 2 young children, no talent in the kitchen, etc. etc. and made a commitment to myself. I made a commitment to myself to be healthy and happy. My routine included two one on one sessions with Brian weekly and two group cardio classes. After two months, I added a group strength class and am at Infinity Personal Training 5 days a week. I also take advantage of their Saturday charity workouts and Sunday open work outs (I bring my 4 year old on the weekends and she is better at burpees than me!). I listened to the Nutrition advise from Amy and followed her many recipes and shopping guides. The first month was hard. Really hard. But I made some amazing new friends and have been so incredibly humbled and inspired by the men and women who work out here. I was hooked. From September to December, I have lost 22 lbs and 8% body fat. I am in the best shape of my life and have found I am more focused at work, more present at home, and sleeping better through the night. I can’t imagine my life now without Infinity Personal Training. It has become a big part of who I am. Each of the trainers make you feel like you can achieve the impossible and encourage you to reach your goals. The owners Amy and Ray Cattaneo have created the perfect combination of Nutrition, Workouts and Team Environment. I highly recommend Infinity Personal Training!
Hello my name is Collin Pollitt from Plano, Texas. I attended the Wanda L Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University (OCU), studying Vocal Performance; Part-time Starbucks barista & Part-time Sound Engineer and Ensemble Librarian at OCU’s Music Ensemble Library.
I joined Infinity over the summer with the hopes of putting on as muscle as I could, how to do things properly in a gym setting and increase my endurance. With my time at Infinity Personal Training, I gained just over 7 lbs of true muscle mass over a 12 week period this summer, all while gaining a better understanding of proper form for my workouts, and how my body responds to nutrition and muscle-building as an ectomorph.
I learned that my resting metabolic rate is very high, which serves as both a blessing and a curse because it is easier for me to lose weight, but harder to maintain and put on weight, so I have to eat lots more food than a mesomorph or an endomorph in order to gain and/or maintain. This summer’s work with Josh(my trainer), Ray(owner, nutrition coach and trainer), and everybody else has really helped me with my goal of filling in my body’s structure with muscle for singing, and an added bonus for appearance. However, it is a journey that I continually work on. I want to continue growing, and the whole team at Infinity Personal Training are so knowledgeable, welcoming, and held me accountable. I would recommend Infinity Personal Training to anybody who is serious about transforming their nutrition and exercise.*
