TESTIMONIALS
Tommie R.
Hello. My name is Tommie. I live in Allen and work in Dallas as a secretary. I have worked out with all of the trainers at Infinity Personal Training. I joined just after the new year in 2013. What motivated me to join was a trip I was preparing to take to London in June. I have bone on bone in my knees and very bad arthritis. I also had become a terrible couch potato. I knew that if I was going to experience my trip as I had planned, that I needed to get myself in shape, both mentally and physically. I also knew that the mental part would follow as the weight fell off and the body began to move again. Boy was I right. I started out with one on one training 3 times a week and the other 3 days cardio. I also followed the eating plan provided by Ray and Amy. I found the eating plan easier to follow than I had imagined. There were great recipes and helpful hints to help me stick with the plan. The weight began to fall off and my stamina and strength increased quickly. My knee pain started to decrease as well. By the time I took my trip I was in great shape and found myself taking the stairs more and avoiding elevators (In the past, I liked to use my knees as an excuse to use the elevator instead of stairs). I could walk and keep up with others and I did not have to stop every 30 minutes or so to rest. By the middle of July I had lost 50 pounds, 15% body fat, and over 25 inches! Before I joined, I drove past IPT and would think..."I would really like to find out what that place is about." One day without thinking, I just did it; just went in and found out what they offered. What I learned is this: It is about owners and trainers that care about their clients. As I stated before I have been trained by all of the trainers and I cannot speak highly enough of them. They really care about your success. They take the time to talk to you about your successes and struggles and will help you when you need that extra push. We all get off track at one time or another and they are right there to help guide you back to where you need to be. I do not know of many "gyms" where the owner will sit and talk to you about how you are doing and ask for a daily list of the foods you have eaten. This has truly been a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it to anyone!
Shanna T.
My name is Shanna Taylor and I live in Allen with my husband, two dogs and three cats, and work in mortgage industry.
I have been with Infinity Personal training for over a year and initially started with the 6 week challenge. One of the most amazing results I have achieved is the ability to complete a 15 mile walk! I would never thought I would be able to do that.
The most unique aspect of IPT is the results oriented mindset of everyone from Ray to the trainers. I truly feel like everyone there wants me to succeed, and I’ve never felt that with other gyms. I mean, what other owner of a gym makes time to meet with his clients one on one to discuss progress and food diaries? None.
My life has changed full circle since joining IPT. I went from being a couch potato, never exercising and eating nothing but fast food, high carb, sugar and fatty foods to eating whole/real foods, losing over 50 lbs and waking up at 5 am to work out 4-5 times a week. On top of my workouts, I walk two miles everyday on my lunch break. I have more strength, feel better and have a lot more energy.
I highly recommend IPT and the group classes. They are small, limited to 10 people max, and everyone is there to motivate each other, while having fun working out. I truly enjoy and look forward to all of my workouts at IPT, which is something I never thought I’d say.*
Andrea C.
Hello, my name is Andrea C. I work as a pharmacy technician and I live in Plano, TX. I have been in and out of gyms, all over the internet, exercised on my own, been sidetracked and given up, only to start all over with a brand new idea for an exercise program. I’d say mad points over the years for being committed to the idea of being fit; but, no joy finding a program that I liked well enough to develop a serious, if not religious, commitment. It was during one of these down times, searching for yet another gym, that I happened to spot Infinity Personal Training and decided to walk in. Boy! Have they changed my life!
IPT is a gym like no other. The entire staff is comprised of extremely knowledgeable, friendly and caring people. The combination of challenging and ever-changing workouts, nutrition counseling and personal accountability is a perfect blendof research and the art of improving the body that works beautifully. To say that I am H-A-P-P-Y would be an understatement. I chose the one–on-one training sessions and I workout with Cassie. In four short months, my primary target, body fat, is moving in the right direction - lower! With Cassie’s guidance, I have shed 3% body fat, become physically stronger and learned to make better food choices. Now, I actually get more sleep, eat more and more wisely. The result? Old pals - cravings and deprivation, are blissfully silent. I finally feel that I am on the right track. I cannot envision myself returning to anything I did in the past. I am amazed. I really enjoy working out because the sessions are always changing and never boring. Nutrition counseling at IPT works because it is easy to adopt and therefore sustainable. I don’t feel as if I am dieting or sacrificing to get results. I just work hard and eat intelligently. Each week I see a healthier and fitter Andrea, I feel seriously motivated to keep on track to be healthier and happier for the rest of my life
The staff at IPT is absolutely terrific and I could not have made such strides without them. I recommend them highly, especially my trainer Cassie. She is truly amazing. You will definitely achieve remarkable results and a new outlook on life. It will make your fitness journeys of the past nothing more that a vague and distant memory as you look ahead to the new, improved and more peaceful you.
Mattie M.
Hello, my name is Matte M., I’m a 9th grade student at LFC in Allen, Texas. Here at Infinity, I’ve trained with most of the evening team, but my sessions were mainly with Mike. The most amazing result that I have achieved throughout my weight loss process is that I’ve lost a total of 21 pounds! For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been chunkier than all of my friends and I’ve never really been able to feel comfortable in a two piece bathing suit, tank tops or fitted shirts. I’ve been bullied several times throughout this past year,in which I was the biggest I’ve ever been. I was 161 pounds and I didn’t even realize it, until I actually weighed myself and looked in the mirror. I have to admit I was dreading this whole personal training thing at first but once I started, I lost a steady 5 pounds a month and I was the most motivated I’ve ever been while working out.
I am now 140 lbs and I couldn’t feel happier or more proud of myself. I feel like I can do anything and the best part of this whole journey is that people actually notice a difference. This is definitely the skinniestI’ve ever been and I don’t regret one bit of the experience. I have tried out other personal training businesses but they have never been like Infinity. The most unique aspect of IPT would probably be that no matter how many sessions you go to, it will always get harder and there is always a new challenge to accomplish.
I would most definitely recommend IPT because it is amazing and it will not only change your life for the better but it will also teach you so many long lasting things about your health and help you learn how to stay healthy.*
Alexis H.
Hi my name is Alexis Hall! I am going to be a freshman at the University of Oklahoma in the fall, which is why my journey with Infinity Personal Training began. I workout with Mike twice each week to get toned up for college!
My best result so far with IPT is definitely gaining muscle and paying attention to what I put into my body. I struggled with my body image for a while, and IPT has helped me realize that through hard work and dedication I can be happy and healthy!
As a result of working out with Mike, I have been focusing on the specific amounts of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats that I am putting into my body. My protein goal for each day is just under my body weight at about 110 grams and I strive to meet that goal every day! I am so happy with my body and enjoy the process that I'm going through.*

My journey to IPT took a long time, I fully admit to being a yoyo dieter, all of my life, it started in high school. If it was a crazy, fad diet I was right there, a willing subject.
I have lost and gained so much weight it is hard to keep track, until now. It all started when my friend Gladys began posting status updates on Face book, working out, eating differently. Now, Gladys and I have been friends for a few years and I found her posts intriguing. I would tease her about becoming my first line of defense during the zombie apocalypse. The more fit she became, the more I meant it, she was not just losing weight she was becoming lean and fit.
I had not seen Gladys in a while, just on Face book, so when I finally did see her in person the difference was amazing. Once again, not just weight loss, she looked fit and strong and suddenly I wanted to be my own defense in the zombie apocalypse.
So I said tell me what you are doing. She did, and after commenting on one of her posts and Ray, one of the owners of IPT actually answered me, telling me to email him. I did, I went in and talked to Ray and Amy, I was told it was a three-month commitment, which is really how long it takes to see real results. Amy explained about the diet, I didn’t balk at giving up grains and sugar, I haven’t had soda in almost two years, so not a problem, it was the dairy I had issues with. I didn’t know I had issues with it; my diet was heavily dependent on dairy, cheese, milk, cream in my coffee (real cream) I had to clean up my way of eating.
The first workout with Andrew, was no joke, half way through I thought I was going to throw up. I didn’t, I persevered and have lasted more than the three months.
To date I have lost a total of 24 pounds and 22 inches, but more important than what I have lost is what I have gained. I have gained strength, self-confidence, well being, I feel better physically than I have in years and my cognitive ability is actually improving.
I highly recommend IPT to anyone looking to make a healthy change in their life, this place that Ray and Amy Cattaneo have created is not only body changing it is life changing. They have created a place that is filled with positive people, all there for the same reason to become the best they can be.
