TESTIMONIALS
Stan P.
Hi my name is Stan Penn from McKinney, and I own the Celtic Irish Pub and Dempsey’s Marketplace in downtown McKinney. I work with Josh Wilcox 3 times a week doing 1-on-1s and my experience at IPT has been incredible!
Josh works with me to set personal goals that I would have not been bel to achieve alone. During the first year at IPT I have lost more than 20 pounds, saw significant reduction on my body fat and an increase in muscle gain. Josh continues to adjust my goals so there will be no plateaus or setbacks in my progress. Together we are always moving forward. I look forward to each workout and have come to consider everyone at IPT family and friends.
IPT has changed my life. No only has it made me a healthier and more fit individual, but I have the confidence that I never knew I had and I am able to do thing that I never thought I could do. My program is tailored for steady, consistent results that will last for the long haul. This is a journey not a quick fix. So much time is spent on form and balance and making sure I am doing things the right way. Also, there is so much emphasis on eating right and taking care of yourself. This is the full deal!
I much appreciate IPT and highly recommend them to anyone that is serious about a fitness program, I promise that you work with Josh or any of the trainers you will be amazed at the results you will achieve. It will change your life!
Conrad V.
My name is Conrad Vilven, I'm a senior at Allen High School. My dad, Richard was training 2x a week with Josh Wilcox since 2017 and I started to join his sessions in June of 2018.
When I initially started working out, my goal was to get super lean and do something with my dad. In the time of me being at IPT, the best specific result I've achieved working out was a 2 pound increase in my skeletal muscle mass.
Getting in the routine of working out with my trainer has been a very positive effect on my life. I've found myself to be much more productive than ever, as staying disciplined to working out has helped me get rid of my excuse’s mindset and instead, be more focused on improving myself! This is not only helping me build habits now but it is something that I can use when I head off to college in the fall.
I strongly recommend you workout with my trainer Josh. He will hold you accountable to make sure that you achieve the goals you set out for.*
Teresa F.
Hi, my name is Teresa and I live in Fairview. I stumbled upon Infinity Personal Training in a Facebook post back in October of 2017. My daughter was getting married and I wanted to look my best in my “Mother of the Bride” dress. I am 55 years old and wanted to lose a few inches in my waist and needed a lot of firming. When I first went in to talk to Gabby about what I wanted to accomplish, she quickly made me feel at home but didn’t pressure me into anything. I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did!
I think what I love best about IPT is the staff and team of trainers. I have never felt like part of a family at a gym but that is exactly what it feels like with them. There is no judgement from trainers or clients about how old or young you are or how fit you are or aren’t. It is all about you and your goals. The trainers really care and are with you in every step of your journey. The workouts are never the same and are challenging but if you can’t do something the trainers will show you alternative ways to accomplish the exercises. I like that you don’t have to think about your workout. You just have to get yourself there and it is all planned out for you! The group classes are not too big and they make sure everyone is using the correct form. They also work with you on your nutrition and help you develop a plan to meet your goals with recipes and advice along the way.
I met my goal of losing the inches for my daughter’s wedding in only 2 months, but more importantly I was inspired to continue on this journey to lead a healthy lifestyle and get strong for the years ahead. I have lost 10 pounds and over 12 inches. I won’t say it is easy, but it is definitely worth it! I have so much energy and feel stronger than I ever have. I even convinced my husband to join me. He wasn’t thrilled at first, but now he is hooked like I am. We hold each other accountable and it is time we enjoy spending together. He lost over 2 percent body fat and 6 pounds in a matter of weeks. My daughter, who is in college, has also been working individually with one of trainers and loves it. It is really a place where all ages can enjoy and be challenged.
If you want to live your best life, now and in the future, don’t hesitate to check out what they have to offer! Thanks IPT!*
Cindy K.
My name is Cindy. I am 56 years old, I live in McKinney, TX, and I am a hard-working mother of three successful adult children. I joined Infinity Personal Training because my daughter, Ashley Larsen, would not stop nagging me to try it. I did not want to, but I did.I joined Weight Watchers on March 10, 2012; I started running in June 2013; and by the time I joined IPT in January 2014, I had already lost 70 pounds. My main goal in joining IPT in the beginning was to gain upper body strength and strengthen my skeleton. I quickly fell in love with strength training. With IPT, the strength training paired with my running for cardio was the perfect total body fitness workout. I am now down 80 pounds. The most amazing result I have achieved is that I have built more strength than I ever dreamed of. In the beginning, five pound weights were too heavy, but now I am so proud that I can often out-do people half my age; I also love having sculpted arms and legs. My life has changed. I have gained a huge boost in self-confidence. I’m no longer afraid to wear racerback tank tops, and I can keep up with my active daughters and my two grandsons – no problem. My recommendation to those looking for healthy change in mind, body, and lifestyle is to join IPT right away. Don’t wait to lose weight and “get fit” first; go now! Don’t be self-conscious of your body – that’s the biggest mistake you can make. Ray, Amy, and all the amazing trainers are positive and motivating. They know you by name and care about you – whatever journey you are on; it’s personal, and it’s a fun place to work out. I love it at Infinity Personal Training!!
Ronna H.
My name is Ronna. I live in Allen and work full time from home with frequent travel to my office in the Washington DC area. I am married and have a 4 and 6 year old. I strive to work out at least 5 days per week in small group training classes. I started working out at Infinity in August of 2014, after a one year break from any sort of regular exercise. My family moved to Texas in the summer of 2013 and it was time for me to find something I enjoyed. My goal at the start was to drop those extra pounds I had built up over time as well as tone up. The most amazing result for me so far has been dropping significant weight and inches and body fat and of course clothes sizes!! I recently cleaned my closet and it was pretty amazing all I had to get rid of! I feel more confident now and less conscious about how I look in gym clothes, bathing suits, work suits, etc. I have been able to tone up and gain strength at Infinity so all those pesky rolls are going away! I have lost 15+lbs since the start of Infinity as well as 6+% body fat and now am in the fitness range. The best thing is I still have goals to reach and I know infinity will get me there. I enjoy the challenges associated with the competitions and am looking forward to my 1st Spartan race in a few weeks. I highly recommend Infinity to anyone looking to improve their health and improve their confidence. It’s more than just getting fit — Infinity Personal Training helps you make important life changes.
Kelsey K.
My name is Kelsey, and I am a high school English teacher in McKinney, TX. Both my sister, Ashley Larsen, and my mom, Cindy Kingston, encouraged and urged me to give Infinity Personal Training a try for a long, long time. I resisted initially; I have been a runner since June 2013, and I thought that was enough. But when I realized the stress of teaching was taking its toll, I gave in, and in July 2014, I purchased a Groupon for a two week trial period.
However, that Groupon sat unused until the day before it expired—in November. I was terrified of going. The thought of interacting with unfamiliar people in an unfamiliar place doing unfamiliar things with my body consumed me with irrational fears of isolation and failure. To help me overcome these fears, my mom attended every workout with me in those first two weeks. But once I got used to it all, I never looked back.
Training with Ray, Amy, Vincent, Andrew, Mike, and all the others, I have achieved incredible results. I have gained so much muscle in my legs that my pants are tighter—and I don’t mind! My arms are toned, and I no longer feel self-conscious wearing cap sleeves at work. My core strength has also improved tremendously, and I can do things I never thought possible, like headstands. In addition, through Dani’s nutrition guidance, recipe ideas, veggie advocating, and overall encouragement, I have dropped almost 5% body fat. I love feeling so strong.
But numbers aside, the most rewarding part of IPT, and the reason I keep coming every week, is the strength and motivation it gives me to manage my anxiety and occasional depression. IPT is a community of positive, supportive, encouraging, goal-driven people—trainers and fellow-clients alike. No matter how tired or grumpy or sore or anxious I am before a workout, I know I will be smiling and laughing before long, while the trainer motivates me to push harder and feel proud of the work I’m doing and the strength I’m building. No matter what kind of day, I know I am guaranteed to leave IPT sweaty and content.
I urge anybody who is seeking any kind of change in his or her life to join the community at Infinity Personal Training. The results you gain will benefit your body, mind, and soul!*
Alex L.
My name is Alex and I am from Dallas, Texas. I work in employee benefits with Assuredpartners of TX. I joined IPT in October of 2019 and attend the small group classes 2 times a week with my trainer, Josh.
When I first started IPT, I really liked that all of the trainers introduced themselves and learned my name. They make you feel like part of a family and a friend and not just another person coming in to workout but really care about you and your progress. Starting a new gym can be intimidating and overwhelming but the team here at IPT really makes you feel involved and supported.
While training at IPT, I’ve been pushed harder and lifted more weight than I ever have in my life. I have lost 15 lbs of body fat mass and gained 3.5 lbs of muscle. Not only has my energy increased but my confidence has too. My heaviest lift has been a 180 lb squat and 175 lb deadlift. I definitely never thought I would be able to lift that much weight and I plan to keep training to be able to lift more in the future.
Working out at IPT has been a game changer. I find myself bored when going to workout alone at other gyms. I definitely recommend working out with any of the trainers here. Josh is an awesome trainer and he will do everything he can to help you reach your goals.
With the help of IPT, I have rediscovered my love for health, wellness and all around bettering myself everyday! I would want to tell anyone who is thinking about joining that consistency is key. Don’t give up and always get right back in it - even if you feel like you’ve slacked off and had a bad week. Just eat more and lift heavier!
