What workout milestones have you accomplished since you started IPT?
Since starting IPT almost two years ago, I’ve seen a huge increase in both my strength and overall energy levels. One milestone I’m especially proud of is exceeding my chest press goal. I ended up lifting more than I originally set out to, which was really motivating and showed me how much stronger I’ve gotten. Even after dealing with a chronic foot injury in October that limited me to upper body and core work for a few months, I was able to stay consistent and continue building strength. Once I eased back into full-body workouts, I noticed I was getting stronger and had more endurance and energy in my workouts than I used to.
Are there any notable habit changes you've made since starting with IPT?
The biggest change for me has been my diet. During my injury, I realized I couldn’t rely on just working out, I needed to make better nutrition choices too. Right before Christmas, I made a big shift and cut out most processed sugars and carbs, and started focusing on a more whole-food-based diet. Those were foods I used to crave all the time, but after cutting them out, I rarely crave them anymore. That change, combined with getting back into consistent workouts, made a huge difference in my energy and results.
Is there anything special that you like/love about IPT?
What I love most about IPT is the accountability. It’s not like a typical gym where you can come and go unnoticed. If I didn’t show up, someone would notice, and there’s real support to stay on track. The goal meetings and body scans also help keep me accountable and focused. Beyond that, IPT makes working out fun and enjoyable. Even when I come in tired after work, I always leave feeling more energized.
What advice or motivation would you give other clients/members when it comes to health and fitness?
Trust the process, diet and exercise really do work when you stay consistent. Don’t be afraid to make a big change if you know it’s something your body needs. For me, cutting out sugar felt drastic at first, but it made such a difference in how I feel every day. Stick with it, even when it’s hard, because the results are worth it.
